Vision

Creating a vision will help you understand how to setup your learning space and why you are creating the space.

Materials

Think about what materials will your students need to be successful.  Every subject area should be considered.  Make sure  you have materials that can be used in a small group or indiviually.  Ex.  pencils, dry erase markers, white boards, white board wall, sticky notes, books, and paper etc.

Layout

Looking at your classroom while empty will help you better understand the classroom layout.  Be mindful of areas meant to be quiet spaces.  Know where your outlets are in the room for technology.  Create spaces for small groups.

Technology

Remember you want Innovative technology tools that will open excitement and new possibilities for teaching and learning.  Create spaces that allows students to use technology in a small group or individually.
